Yorkville Girl Scouts celebrate one century plus seven years

Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois Gemini Service Unit in Yorkville celebrated the 107th Birthday of Girl Scouts by having a birthday party. The girls danced, sang songs, made thank you cards for their leaders, and enjoyed Girl Scout traditions together.  Each girl brought $1.07 to be donated to the Kendall County Food Pantry. The Girl Scouts also donated items for Birthday Boxes - Aurora.  These boxes full of birthday celebration items will be given to children in foster homes or shelters.
