Parkview Christian students plant tree for Arbor Day

Parkview Christian Academy celebrated Arbor Day on April 26. Students were educated about trees by Marlee with Itrees.com of Morris. Her staff taught the students how to plant a tree from start to finish. The fourth grade class assisted by helping fill in dirt around the tree and mulching around the tree. The staff at itrees.com. provided the labor and also donated a tree for planting. A Greenspire Linden was planted on the west side of the campus. The building and grounds are owned by the Parkview Foundation. Parkview Christian Academy's school has been at the 201 W. Center St. location since 1997. The school is celebrating 22 years this school year and this tree will mark over 20 years of the schools existence.  For more information about Parkview Christian Academy, go to parkviewchristian.net or contact the office at 630-553-5158.
