The latest seasonal exhibit at Oswego’s Little White School Museum is “Celebrating the 9’s,’ ” honoring Oswego school classes from years ending in 9. The exhibit includes the composite portrait of the Oswego High School Class of 1929.

This year, friends and relatives of seniors in the Oswego School District’s two high schools will congratulate the members of the Class of 2019, and to mark their achievements, the Little White School Museum is offering visitors a special seasonal exhibit, “Celebrating the 9s,” now through mid-June.

The museum is at 72 Polk St. (Jackson at Polk), Oswego.

This year’s special exhibit was created by museum assistant Sarah Kimes, and features memorabilia from school years ending in 9, from yearbooks to class photos to graduation announcements for Oswego’s high school classes.

Included in this year’s exhibit are, among other rarely seen items from the museum’s collections, a jersey from the 1929 Oswego High School basketball team, the class photo and graduation announcement from the Oswego High School Class of 1889, yearbooks and a variety of other memorabilia and photographs dealing with local school classes ending in 9.

Regular museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are always gratefully accepted.
