Plano police reports

Information in Police Reports is obtained from local police departments. Individuals in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proved guilty in court.

Criminal trespass

Plano police arrested Randy Richardson Jr., 51, of the 4000 block of Dobbins Street, Plano, on a charge of criminal trespass to property, after responding to a call at a business in the 12000 block of Route 34, for a report of a subject who previously had trespassed at the property. Officers made contact with Richardson, who still was inside the property. Richardson was placed under arrest, and was unable to post bond. He was later transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville.

DUI, possession of controlled substance

Plano police arrested Claude Carter Jr., 34, of the 1300 block of South Fourth Street, Aurora, on charges of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance after responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 11:37 p.m. June 3 behind a business in the 7000 block of Burroughs Avenue. Officers identified Carter, determined the vehicle was in his possession and that he was under the influence of alcohol. While conducting a search of the vehicle, officers founds items with a white powdery residue. A field test confirmed the residue was a controlled substance. Carter was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail to await bond.
