Plano resident injured
Plano resident Janelle A. Pina, 25, of the 3000 block of Boyer Street, was injured at 8:40 a.m. June 10 when the vehicle she was driving was involved in a rollover crash on Galena Road at East Beecher Road in unincorporated Bristol Township, according to the County Sheriff's Office. Police said Pina was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported domestic battery involving a man and a woman at 11:25 a.m. June 10 in the 2000 bock of Route 31 in Oswego Township. Police said the incident remains under investigation.
Sheriff's deputies arrested Vanessa A. Flores, 27, of the 200 block of Hillside Avenue in Aurora, at 7:27 p.m. June 10 at a residence in the 100 block of Heathgate Road in Boulder Hill. Police said deputies were summoned to the area on a request to keep the peace. Police said Flores was arrested on a Kane County warrant for failing to appear in court on a prior charge.
Newark burglary reported
Sheriff's deputies took a burglary report at 3:31 p.m. June 10 in the 14000 bock of Route 71 in Newark. Police said deputies were told that sometime between June 8 and 10 someone entered an outbuilding on the property and took miscellaneous items valued at about $2,000.
Marengo resident Jose Rodriguez, 23 of the 1000 block of Jacquelyn Court was injured at 9:20 a.m. June 8 at Eldamain Road at Schaefer Road when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving and struck a raised median. Police said Rodriguez was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with what they described as injuries that were not life-threatening.
Two face cannabis charges
Sheriff's deputies arrested Kelly J. Patrick, 18, of the 900 block of Thorn Creek Drive, Joliet, and a juvenile after they stopped the vehicle the juvenile was driving at 9:58 p.m., June 8 on Route 31 and Albright Road in Montgomery. Police said the suspects were charged with possession of more than 30 grams of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both suspects were transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending a bond hearing.
Facing DUI charge
Sheriff's deputies arrested Paul J. Reyna, 34, of the 2000 block of County Road, Plano, after stopping his vehicle for a traffic violation at 3:46 a.m. June 8 on Route 30 and Bertram Drive in Bristol Township. Police said Reyna was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the County Jail where he later posted bond and was released pending court proceedings.
Arrested on two warrants
Sheriff's deputies arrested Krystal Adams, 33, of the 900 block of Lebanon Street, Aurora, while responding to a report of suspicious circumstances at 9:38 p.m. June 9 at Route 31 and Caterpillar Drive near Montgomery. Police said Adams was taken into custody when they determined she was wanted on two DuPage County warrants for failure to appear in court on charges of retail theft. She was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.
Graffiti damage found
Sheriff's deputies took a report of criminal defacement to property at 2:47 p.m. June 6 on Route 25 near Boulder Hill. Police said graffiti was found along the side of a roadway barrier. Police said they are investigating.

Vehicle reported burglarized
Sheriff's deputies took a report of a burglary to a vehicle at 5:59 a.m. June 6 at a residence in the 0-50 block of Codorus Road in Boulder Hill. Police said someone entered the vehicle overnight and removed personal items.
Ticketed in Seward rollover
Sheriff's deputies ticketed Xavier R. Mendoza, 18, of Joliet for driving without a valid license after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a rollover crash at 1:17 a.m. June 7 at Grove and Chicago roads in Seward Township.
