Oswego police reports

Information in Police Reports is obtained from local police departments. Individuals in Police Reports who have been charged with a crime have not been proved guilty in court.

Seek info in purse theft

Oswego police took a report of a burglary to a vehicle that occurred late July 6 or early July 7 in the 600 block of Mansfield Way. Police said a car window was smashed out and a purse was taken from the vehicle. The purse was recovered. Police said anyone with information on the incident is asked to call them at 630-551-7300.

Vehicle burglary reported

Oswego police took a report of a burglary to a vehicle that occurred at 2 p.m. July 2 at a business in the 1800 block of Douglas Road.

Domestic battery arrest

Oswego police arrested Michael A. Prince, 48, of the 400 block of Monroe Street, Oswego, at 11:38 a.m. July 1 at his residence on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Prince was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Facing battery charge

Oswego police arrested Tangela L. McCullar-Deener, 48, of the 100 block of Concord Drive South at 8:22 p.m. July 1 on a charge of domestic battery. Police said McCullar-Deener was transported to the County Jail pending court proceedings.

Vehicle burglary reported

Oswego police took a report of a burglary to a vehicle at 5:04 a.m. July 4 in the 4600 bock of McClaren Drive. Police said someone removed cords, a Bluetooth stereo and some cash from the vehicle.

Property-damage crash

Oswego police ticketed Elijah A. Osagboro, 25, of the 7300 block of Circle Avenue, Forest Park, after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a property-damage crash at 3:55 p.m. July 2 on Washington Street at Route 71. Police said Osagboro was ticketed for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident and improper lane usage. Damage as a result of the crash was estimated at more than $1,500, police said. Osagboro was released pending a court appearance.
