Altitude in Oswego will host a special fundraising event for local school districts over the weekend of August 9-11. Fifteen percent of sales taken over Aug. 9-11 will be used to purchase school supplies for local teachers. Teachers in the area are invited to come to the park on Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to select free school supplies for their classrooms, while supplies last.
In addition, Altitude will discount up to five kids to jump for $9.99 for one hour while teachers choose their supplies. Local teacher need to simply bring their teacher ID and up to five kids on Aug. 17 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Altitude Oswego’s general manager, Crysta Darr said, "We are so excited to be able to support our local teachers. We know how hard it can be to fill a classroom with not only pencils and paper, but all the extras that teachers need to help create amazing learning environments for the children in our community. With our three-day event, not only are we hoping to raise as much as we can to be able to donate school supplies, but we are also doing multiple giveaways every day for our customers. Along with smaller prizes all weekend long, we will be giving away free passes, free entrance for a month to certain events, and even a free birthday party giveaway."
