A Plano resident has been charged with driving under the influence after the vehicle she was driving was involved in a crash at 8:26 p.m. on Route 34 at Eldamain Road, Thursday night, Aug. 22, according to Plano police.
Police identified the suspect as Samandah Perez, 37, of the 4300 block of Foli Street.
Officers reported Perez's vehicle sideswiped another vehicle and continued through the intersection.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured and signed a medical release form provided by paramedics.
While investigating the crash, police said officers determined that Perez was under the influence of alcohol. Police also cited Perez for improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
