Plano High School honors students, staff in September

Plano High School recently named its students and staff of the month for September.

PHS staff nominated students for Student of the Month for the month of September. Students are nominated for PRIDE behavior (Personal responsibility, Respect, Involved academically, Demonstrates safe behavior, and Excellence in what they do). Some reasons for nomination include being persistent with projects, having a positive attitude, having an impact and recognizing change for the school community, possessing a drive to succeed, inspiring others to succeed, and making a difference using leadership skills.

Students of the Month for September are Shayna Krotz, Ace Frieders, Ariana Mendez, Alyssa Allen, Max Tipescu, Sophia Andrade, Holly Olson, Cedric Walton, Eliyas Peray and Fatima Hernandez.

Students and administration nominated staff members for Staff Member of the Month for September. Reasons for nomination include making the Innovation Center run efficiently for students and staff, looking for new ways of inventorying text books, building relationships with students, being an awesome team player out of retirement, meeting the needs of all students, being versatile as a sub teacher, displaying a contagious positive attitude, and providing a positive learning environment.  

Staff Members of the Month for September are Ms. Chatman, Ms Dellorto, Mr. Beebe, Mr. DeBolt, Mr. Banister, Ms. Mezo, Ms. Franks, and Ms. Trapaga.   

Students and staff members received a certificate and a breakfast in their honor.
