Rockford East prevails 70-66 at Batavia's Night of Hoops
BATAVIA – Grayson Goetz received the inbound pass and initially was supposed to kick the ball to the corner for Oswego East's last chance in the first overtime Saturday.
Oswego East anticipated Rockford East would be running a man-to-man defense with seven seconds left. The play was set, but instead, the E-Rabs showed a 3-2 defensive zone.
Goetz delivered, knocking in the game-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer to send it into double overtime, where Rockford East ultimately prevailed 70-66 at Batavia's Night of Hoops.
