Plano High School closed out a chilly, rainy Homecoming Week, with the school's annual Homecoming Parade through downtown Plano on Saturday morning, following a victory the previous night over Route 34 rival Sandwich High School.
Before the start of Friday's varsity football game, the crowd took a moment to recognize the members of the 2018 Homecoming Court: Freshmen Stacey Oyervides and Joshua Padilla; sophomores Rachel Martinez and Draven Ordonez; juniors Ari Mendez and McKai Vann; and seniors Serenity Early, Lexi Tisberger, Kenzie Waldrop, Hector Gonzalez, Adam Nebel, and Elias Wallace. The 2018 Homecoming King and Queen, Connor Kensel and Synthia Gonzales were also honored before the start of Friday's game.
Plano brought home a victory over Sandwich High School with a score of 26-20 in the varsity game on Friday night, despite the storms that made periodic appearances during the game. This Friday, Plano will travel to Herscher to face the Herscher High School Tigers.
