Seeing the ball bounding away, Konecny someone got to his feet quickly enough to dive headfirst to keep the ball in play as he tapped it to teammate Cole Yearsley (9 points), who laid it in.
“I’m pretty well known for doing that kind of stuff, diving all over the place,” Konecny said. “I just love doing that. I like it more than [making a shot]. I just love the energy it brings and hearing everyone cheering. I think it makes all of us feel better.”
