Area residents of all ages gathered in downtown Oswego on Saturday to celebrate the end of summer at the final Beats & Eats food and music festival of the season.
The twice annual event featured up and coming musical acts as well as popular food trucks and restaurants from across the Chicago region.
Yorkville resident Lauren Edel came to the weekend celebration with friends and family.
"We heard about Beats & Eats and we love it. When they can dance and we can get the kids out it's a great time," Edel said.
More than a dozen food trucks and restaurants were represented at Saturday's event, including returning favorites like Oswego American Legion Post 675 and Wurst Kitchen.
"I think it's great, I love the food trucks...there's a lot of variety," Oswego resident Kristin Plyer said.
