Sandwich took second at the Reed-Custer Invite on Saturday, scoring 101 points to Morris’ 119.
Jayden McCulskie-Green soared 43 feet, 11 inches to win the triple jump, and was second in the long jump (20-7). The 800-meter relay team of Noah Klossing, McCulskie-Green, Michael Marrs and Dylan Baumbach took second in an indoor school-record time of 1:39.88. Also taking second was Baumbach in the 400 (54.00); Mason Kellogg in the 3,200 (11:15); the 1,600 relay team of Klossing, Baumbach, Steve Aguilar and Ian Kelson; the 3,200 relay team of Kelson, Aguilar, Johnny Rizzuto and Adrian Mendoza; and Sead Sejdiu in the shot put (46-8).
Sandwich took fifth at the Sycamore Invite on March 6. Sandwich first-place finishers included Marrs in the 55 (6.97) and 200 (24.88), Baumbach in the 400 (55.59) and Sejdiu in the shot put (45-3.5).
