Open Door Rehabilitation Center is holding its 27th annual golf outing on Friday, June 21, at Bliss Creek Golf Club in Sugar Grove.
Play begins at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start, best ball scramble. All golfers are invited and encouraged to participate in this fun-filled, charity event. The day will feature complimentary drinks, free range tokens, and a steak dinner and dessert.
Contests include a golf ball drop, lowest team score, straightest drive, closest to the pin and a hole-in-one with a grand prize.
Area businesses, as well as individuals, are encouraged to consider sponsoring this worthwhile, community event.
Sponsors will be recognized in the Open Door newsletter, banquet program, website and Facebook posts. Open Door sponsorships of $250 and more will receive special signage on the golf course.
All proceeds benefit programs and services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Donations enable Open Door clients to develop independence through job training, explore and grow through activities such as art and cooking classes, and enjoy a quality life by attending special affairs such as musical and sporting events.
Open Door focuses its programming and services on “Opening Doors and Developing Opportunities” for the individuals they serve.
