One hurt as vehicle runs red light
A Naperville resident, Alexander C. Dalmoro, 24,was injured and transported to an area hospital as the result of a three-vehicle crash at 12:20 p.m. June 1 at Route 34 and Route 71 in Oswego, according to Oswego police. The crash occurred, police said, when a vehicle driven by Bert J. Theobald, 93, of Montgomery drove through a red light at the intersection, causing Dalmoro’s vehicle to strike a third vehicle, driven by Andrew J. Badgley, 41, of Yorkville. Police said all three vehicles needed to be towed from the crash site.
Oswego police arrested Michael Mauricio, 20, of the 10-20 block of Circle Drive East, Boulder Hill, at 3:10 p.m. May 31 in the 40th block of Wingate Drive on a warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of driving on a suspended license. Police said Mauricio was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville where he later posted bond and was released.
Theft from vehicle
Oswego police took a report of a theft from a vehicle at 3:22 p.m. June 2 in the 400 block of Raintree Drive. Police said property worth $30 was stolen.
Oswego police arrested Hamp A. Fowler, 23, of the 1200 block of Fifth Street, Aurora at 9:35 a.m. May 31 in the 200 block of Douglas Road. Police said Fowler was wanted on an Aurora police warrant for a prior charge of domestic battery.
Theft reported at Civic Center
Oswego police took a theft report at 7:10 p.m. May 31 at the Oswegoland Civic Center on Ashlawn Avenue. Police said $350 was reported taken.
Debit card theft reported
Oswego police took a report of a stolen debit card at 2:56 p.m. May 30 in the 100 block of Donegal Court. Police said a total of $34 was charged to the card.
Oswego police took a hit-and-run report at 2:45 p.m. May 29 in a parking lot in the 3000 block of Route 34. Police said an unidentified motorist struck and damaged another parked vehicle causing damage in excess of $1,500.
