October snow mixes fall and winter in Kendall County
In what was surely a blow to the Halloween spirit, residents of Kendall County and northeastern Illinois woke up to two-three inches of snow on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
While the snowfall created hazardous driving conditions, downed tree branches and power outages throughout the area, it also created contrasting visuals of trees and bushes, bright with fall leaves and covered with white snow.
