Duncan Sr. for Shaw Media]Keion Battle, Oswego East, senior, receiver: All-conference selection had 37 catches for 438 yards and eight touchdowns. He also had 13 carries for 101 yards and a TD. Played five games defensively, had 27 tackles, three for loss, five pass breakups and a fumble recovery.Josh Beetham, Yorkville, senior, quarterback: Repeat all-area pick and honorable mention All-State selection threw for 1,463 yards and 14 TDs for 8-3 Foxes. [Sean King for Shaw Media]Evan Brown, Oswego, junior, linebacker: Panthers graduated all of their linebackers from 2018, but Brown more than filled those shoes in first varsity season. Brown led Oswego with 95 tackles, 44 of them solos, with eight tackles for loss and a sack.Gianni Cammarata, Oswego East, senior, linebacker: All-conference pick had 61 tackles, 31 of them solos, with eight tackles for loss. Also had five pass breakups, one sack, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. [Sean King for Shaw Media]Anthony Cikauskas, Oswego, junior, defensive line: Pass-rushing defensive end had team-high 11 sacks and 21 tackles for loss. Cikauskas had 48 total tackles, third on team, two fumble recoveries and an interception. [Mary Beth Nolan]Matt Egly, Oswego, junior, defensive line: After splitting time at the sophomore and varsity levels as a sophomore, Egly emerged as a force in first full varsity season. Egly had 47 tackles, 10 for loss, four sacks and one fumble recovery. [Steven Buyansky]Jack Hugunin, Oswego, senior, defensive line: Northern Illinois recruit was the most dominant player at his position and anchored fierce Oswego defensive line. Hugunin, a repeat all-area pick and Class 8A All-State selection, had 28 solo tackles and 50 total, second on Oswego, 10 tackles for loss and four sacks.Robby Isaacs, Yorkville, senior, offensive/defensive line: Three-year starter on the offensive line added defensive line to his duties. Team captain was a two-time all-conference pick for 8-3 Foxes. All-State academic selection. [Gary E Duncan Sr for Shaw Media]Jack Lemke, Oswego, senior, receiver: Area's leading receiver had 52 catches for 818 yards and nine receiving TDs and ran for 115 and a score. Lemke also threw for a TD. Lemke had 10 catches for 135 yards in playoff game against Bolingbrook. [Mary Beth Nolan]Nic Lidinsky, Sandwich, senior, running back/defensive back: First team all-conference, Lidinsky led area in rushing with 1,098 yards and 11 TDs. Lidinsky ran for 276 yards and six TDs in win over Ottawa. Defensively, had 32 tackles, one interception and two tackles for loss. [Mark Busch - firstname.lastname@example.org]Jackson Murphy, Sandwich, senior, running back/linebacker: First team all-conference, Murphy had team-high 56 tackles and six for loss, with two interceptions. Do-it-all talent ran for 304 yards and four TDs, threw a TD and also made nine PATs. [Gary E Duncan Sr for Shaw Media]Juan Parrott, Oswego East, senior, safety: All-conference pick had 63 tackles and 41 solos, and seven tackles for loss. Parrott also had 10 pass breakups, one interception and two fumble recoveries. [Steven Buyansky]Jake Polowy, Yorkville, senior, linebacker: Three-year varsity player had a knack for the big play with five career pick-sixes. Was part of three blocked punts against Oswego East. Polowy, an honorable mention All-State pick, had 53 total tackles, five interceptions and a fumble recovery. [Sean King for Shaw Media]Cole Pradel, Oswego, junior, quarterback: A converted linebacker, Pradel completed 62 percent of his passes for area-best 1,732 yards and 19 TDs. He also ran for 358 yards and seven TDs. Led Foxes with 52 solo tackles, was second in total tackles with 80, had six interceptions – one returned for a TD – and one fumble recovery. Offensively had team-high 33 catches for 562 yards and 10 TDs.Cole Riebe, Yorkville, senior, kicker/punter: Emerged as a weapon in special teams, Riebe was 15-for-18 on field goals with a long of 45, and 29-for-35 on extra points. Had a 37.3-yard average on 45 punts with 33.3% inside the 20. Had 43 touchbacks in 63 kickoffs.Ben Stemmet, Yorkville, senior, linebacker: Anchor of the Yorkville defense front seven led Foxes with 90 total tackles, 34 of them solos, had two solo sacks and assisted a sack. All-State wrestler committed to Air Force for wrestling. [Gary E Duncan Sr for Shaw Media]Gabe Rodriguez, Plano, senior, defensive back/receiver: First team all-conference, Rodriguez was second on Reapers in tackles with 54, first on team in forced fumbles and second in recovered fumbles. Caught eight passes. Averaged 21.3 yards on punt returns with a TD.Troy Warner, Oswego, senior, offensive line: Team captain and left guard anchored offensive line for Oswego offense that averaged nearly 30 points a game.Alex Wollschlaeger, Oswego East, senior, offensive line: Bowling Green recruit and all-conference selection, the 6-foot-6, 265-pound tackle had 22 pancake blocks.
