To the Editor:
The other day I received an attack letter about Brian LeClercq, our former Oswego Village President of eight years. While he was in office, the board was able to reduce the size of government and maintain the level of service to our citizens. In fact, he left with a substantial surplus while going through a recession. So this hate piece, full of rhetoric, is a distraction. The question is whether you want to reduce your taxes and make government more accountable or go on with business as usual? A yes vote will allow our township to keep providing vital services to the residents in unincorporated areas.
