Boys Basketball: Associated Press announces Class 3A/Class 4A All-State teams

Louisville recruit Bryce Hopkins of Fenwick and Illinois commit Adam Miller from Morgan Park were among those selected to the Associated Press All-State teams announced today for Class 3A and Class 4A.

The Class 3A first team is Hopkins, Miller, Colorado State recruit Isaiah Rivera of Geneseo, Antione Bloxton of Bogan and Troy D'Amico of Niles Notre Dame. The Class 3A second team is Connor Dillon of Peoria Notre Dame, Jaylin McCants of Galesburg, AJ Casey of Tinley Park, Brandon Weston of Morgn Park, Jackson Connor of Marion and Kaden Froebe of Lincoln. Hopkins was the only player named on each ballot.

The Class 4A first team is Duke recruit DJ Stewart of Whitney Young, Max Christie of Rolling Meadows, Ramean Hinton of Curie, Ray'Sean Taylor of Collinsville and Iowa recruit Ahron Ulis of Marian Catholic. The Class 4A second team is Ahamad Bynum of Simeon, Dante Maddox of Bloom, Dominic Martelli of Glenbrook South, Aquan Smart of Niles North and Darius Burford of Bolingbrook.

York's Nate Shockey, Glenbard East's DaRon Hall and St. Charles North's Connor Linke received honorable mention.
