Earthmover Credit Union recently awarded four Teen Investment Program college scholarships totaling $4,000 to four local high school students. The winners were based on outstanding academics, extracurricular involvement, and an essay about their biggest influence and how their influence affected the way they see the world.
This year’s winners are:
First place: Lauren Torres-Turnage of Montgomery, who will attend University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign to study speech language pathology.
Second place: Nikolas Stemmet of Yorkville, who will attend Stanford University to study economics.
Third place: Olivia Antoniolli of Aurora who will attend Western Michigan University to study music theatre performance.
Fourth place: Bryce Logan of Aurora, who will attend University of Indianapolis to study international relations/Spanish.
