The Plano High School class of 2020 graduated amid wind and rain in a socially distanced ceremony Sunday, July 19.
The ceremony began on the track surrounding Reaper Stadium with speeches from class president Brooke Morgan and valedictorian Michael Cano.
Cars full of students and family were staged throughout the parking lot, with groups of students and two guests set at socially-distanced intervals, heading into the stadium. When students crossed the stage, they were allowed to bring two guests with them, to present their diploma and pose for pictures.
A short time into the ceremony, rain began to pour over the field, so the remainder of the commencement ceremony took place inside the PHS Auditorium.
