Oswego police reports

Aggravated assault reported

Oswego police are investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at 11:55 p.m. July 25 in the 20th block of Primrose Lane. Police said a 31-year-old Oswego man was the uninjured victim in the incident.

Damage found at school

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property at Plank Junior High School at 510 Secretariat Lane at 6 p.m. July 27. Police said damage was estimated at $400.

Damage reported in park

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property at 6 p.m. July 27 in Prairie Point Park at 4120 Plainfield Road. Police said damage was estimated at $250.

Damage found at OHS

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property at 6 p.m. July 27 at Oswego High School, 4250 Route 71. Police said damage was estimated at $400.

$640 stolen from vehicle

Oswego police are investigating the theft of $640 from a vehicle that was left unlocked and parked at 11 a.m. July 21 on Shadowbrook Court.

Stone wall found damaged

Oswego police are investigating a report of criminal damage to state-supported property that occurred sometime between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. July 22 in the 30th block of Jefferson Street. Police said more than $1,500 in damage was done to a stone wall.

Domestic battery reported

Oswego police are investigating a domestic battery that occurred at 5:52 p.m. March 28 at a residence in the 500 block of Cardinal Avenue. Police said the incident was reported to them at 9:47 p.m. July 26. A juvenile was injured in the incident but was not transported to the hospital, according to police.

Graffiti damage reported

Someone spray-painted graffiti on the railroad bridge near the downtown Oswego Public Library, resulting in an estimated $200 damage, according to Oswego police.

Suspect sought

Oswego police are investigating a report of a violation of an order of protection that occurred at 5:01 p.m. July 26 in the 400 block of Prairieview Drive. According to police, no one was hurt in the incident, but a 54-year-old male suspect is being sought.

Protection order violation

Oswego police took a report of a violation of an order of protection at 8:55 p.m. July 22 in the 400 block of Prairieview Drive. Police said the incident remains under investigation.

Property damage reported

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred at 4 p.m. July 22 in the 2300 block of Route 34. Police said damage was estimated at $250.

Theft reported

Oswego police took a report of a retail theft at 12:26 a.m. July 23 at a store in the 1100 block of Route 34. Police said the loss in the incident totaled $194.23.

ID theft reported

Oswego police took a report of identity theft July 20 from a resident on Gloria Lane.

Motorist stopped, cited

Oswego police cited Juan Jose Espino-Rosas, 38, of the 200 block of West Downer Place, Aurora, with driving on a revoked license at 7:30 a.m. July 21 after stopping the vehicle he was driving on Route 31 at Mill Road.
