UMC of Plano hosts outdoor service

The United Methodist Church of Plano held an outdoor worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 2. Thirty-two people gathered in the church parking lot and enjoyed the message delivered by Pastor Stevan Saunders.  This was the second “in person” outside service at the church since March 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pastor Stevan Saunders had been delivering his worship sermons via live streaming on Facebook in April and May.  Worship “in person” services have been conducted in the church sanctuary since June at 10 a.m. along with live streaming.  Everyone is welcome to participate in the worship services in the church sanctuary with the following requirements: masks are required, use hand sanitizer provided by the church before entering the sanctuary, and sit in pews or chairs that meet the social distancing requirements.  For more information, contact the church office at 630-552-3700.
