Arrested in disturbance
Montgomery police arrested Abel Caballero, 46, of the 0-10 block of Mill Street, Montgomery, at 5:31 a.m. Sept. 12 while responding to his residence on a report of domestic violence. Police said it is alleged that Caballero damaged property and prevented a victim from calling 911 to report the incident. The suspect faces charges of criminal damage to property and interfering with the reporting of domestic violence. Police said the suspect was booked at the village police station and then later released pending an appearance at the Kane County Courthouse.
Traffic stop leads to warrant arrest
Montgomery police arrested Alejandro Martinez, 39, of the 700 block of Royal Saint George, Naperville, at 12:56 a.m. Sept. 14 after stopping his vehicle for disobeying a traffic control device on Route 30 at Horseman Trial. Police said Martinez was was wanted on an Aurora police warrant on a prior charge of driving without a valid license. He was additionally cited for obstructing identification, disobeying a traffic control device and driving without insurance. The suspect later posted bond and was released pending a court date in Aurora.
Arrested on retail theft charge
Montgomery police arrested Morgan McBeth, 26, of the 1000 block of Howell Place, Aurora, at 3:20 p.m. Sept. 11 at a business in the 2000 block of Orchard Road. Police said McBeth was charged with retail theft. The suspect was later released pending a court appearance.
Arrested on traffic warrant
Montgomery police arrested Marshae Sanders, 25, of the 100 block of Center Street, Aurora, at 10:20 a.m. Sept. 13 while responding to a disturbance in the 400 block of Route 30. Police said Sanders was found to be wanted on an Aurora police traffic warrant
