Yorkville police took three separate reports of criminal damage to property in the Greenbriar subdivision on the city's south side Sept. 13.
Each incident was reported to have occurred around 3:15 a.m. in the 500 block of West Barberry Court, the 1000 block of East Barberry Court and the 1000 block of Walsh Drive.
In each report, a mailbox at a residence was reported to have been damaged. A map of the subdivision shows that Walsh Drive connects the east and west sides of Barberry Court.
Deputy Chief of Police Behr Pfizenmaier confirmed that the incidents are believed to be related.
A group of juveniles are suspected by police to be involved with the incidents, but no charges have been filed, according to Pfizenmaier.
The investigation is ongoing.
