UMC of Plano conducts outdoor service

The United Methodist Church of Plano held an outdoor worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30. Thirty people gathered in the church parking lot and enjoyed the message delivered by Pastor Stevan Saunders.  This was the third in person outside service at the church since March 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pastor Stevan Saunders had been delivering his worship sermons via live streaming on Facebook since April. Worship in person services have been conducted in the church sanctuary since June along with live streaming. Everyone is welcome to participate in the worship services in the church sanctuary with the following requirements: use hand sanitizer provided by the church before entering the sanctuary, sit in pews or chairs that meet the social distancing requirements, and face masks are optional once you are in the sanctuary.  For more information, contact the church office at 630-552-3700. Pictured are members from the United Methodist Church of Plano listening to Pastor Stevan Saunders message at the outdoor worship service on Aug. 30.
