Told of domestic violence
Oswego police took a report of domestic violence that officers were told occurred at 11:47 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 500 block of Pine Ridge Drive. No injuries or arrests were reported in the incident, which involved a 26-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, according to police.
Burglary from vehicle reported
Oswego police are investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 1:23 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 40th block of Park Street. Police said the loss in the incident was placed at $870.
Violation of order of protection
Oswego police are investigating a report of a violation of an order of protection that occurred at 5:05 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 3300 block of Woolley Road.
Oswego police are investigating a report of identity theft made Oct. 5 in the area of Majestic Lane and McGrath Drive.
Oswego police arrested Sylvester Flores, 27, of the 500 block of Fifth Avenue, Aurora, on charges of driving under the influence and driving without a valid license after responding to a traffic accident at 9:43 p.m. Oct. 5 in the area of Route 34 and Kendall Point Drive. A passenger in Flores' vehicle was reported injured and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Flores was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville to await a court appearance.
Failure to reduce speed
Oswego police cited Maxwell R. Gregg, 20, of the 500 block of Springbrook Trail North, Oswego, for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after responding to a traffic accident at 1:43 p.m. Oct. 6 in the area of Mill Road and Bucktail Drive. Gregg was reported injured in the accident, but declined treatment. Gregg was released on a personal recognizance bond, and was given a date to appear in Kendall County Court.
Driving with no valid license
Oswego police arrested Funke R. Adeoti, 51, of the 1000 block of Howard Place, Aurora, on a charge of driving without a valid license after a two-vehicle accident at 9:43 p.m. Oct. 5 in the area of Route 34 and Kendall Point Drive. Upon investigation, officers learned that Adeoti had been driving without a valid license, and he was arrested at 8:44 p.m. Oct. 6. Adeoti was released on her own recognizance and was given a date to appear in Kendall County Court.
